Does Silicon Practice meet NHS security standards?

Silicon Practice has successfully completed NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit and has Cyber Essentials Plus certification, is ISO27001 certified and is compliant with DCB0129 Clinical Risk Management.

Silicon Practice products Footfall and Foundation are on the Digital First online consultation and video consultation (DFOCVC) framework.

Does Silicon Practice meet GDPR standards?

Yes, the company meets UK General Data Protection Regulations 2021.

Can I be sure that video consultations are secure?

Silicon Practice is fully compliant with the NHS DFOCVC framework, which covers video consultations. Consultations are end-to-end encrypted and, in accordance with NHS requirements, are not recorded or stored.

I admit I wasn’t sure about it as I’m so used to ringing and getting given a time to come in straight away but used it today for my teenage daughter – we filled in the form late last night and had a call at 9am this morning and an appointment at 10.20. Brilliant.

Very impressed too, filled out form early this morning, GP phoned me mid-morning and sent my prescription to the chemists without me seeing him… much more efficient.

I was impressed last week to fill in the form saying it could wait a few days, and had phone call within the hour and an appointment late the same night!
